I was quite shocked the first time i opened the hood of one of the STi's in the showroom at work.

JWS should have a few more left in stock. Give Fats a ring on 9302 3519 before 12 on Saturday or normal business hours.

late model sti tmic in a gc8 is not that easy! best way to do it is fit the spec-c manifold as it brings the whole thing forward off the firewall. you then encounter a few other headaches including coil pack relocation and possible sensors that don't talk to each other.

whats the best TMIC for a MY00? would a 04-07 sti intercooler fit easily?

pretty sure for all gc8's to run 02+ sti tmic's you need to use the later model clutch reservoir as it angles this to the one side. the intake manifold/throttle body in its current location may also limit firewall clerance. watch this space.

on a side note, mms have a customers 02 sti with the hyperflow water to air kit, once its rebuilt (dropped a cylinder) ill post any results.
