i have the AVO tmic, my cars still not running the best, but i noticed better spool up as soon as it was fitted. its goin back in for a tune on the 23rd, so all being well problems will be solved an i can give you a comparison to when i had my last good running tune. gotta admit the process west one looks pretty sexy tho!!

I just picked up a 04 STI intercooler as i have been told they are the best flowing out of all the top mounts. I'll let you know how it performs. I have a 05 STI one up for sale atm if your interested. $450

Tube and fin > bar and plate (heat sink spec).

MY08 STi cooler is meant to be the biggest to date. Smash one of them in!

Is anyone actually using the water to air set up???

I can see how it is great for heat soak when stationary and for "Packaging" if your running out of space or an odd engine bay layout but fail to see how its going to make a huge difference in reducing intake temperatures over and above a good air to air setup.

I believe that water to air is not so favourable for prolonged running....say in a race situation...because evntually the water heat soaks and can not transfer heat quick enough when it passes through the heat exchanger.

A supercharged MR2 I used to have had one fitted and on the road it was great. The intercooler was always cold to the touch however if you got up it for any length of time it would get pretty hot.
