08 STi TMIC doesn't have the logo on it so that's a drop in at least 10hp right there.

Could always spray it on with a stencil and recover that 10hp

Where did you find one of those from, i wonder if it's much bigger than the previous 04, 05, 06, 07 models. How much did you pay?

Hey dude i know they are identicle, i was just saying that the guy who sold me the cooler said that these are the biggest one STI have made. But now reding further maybe the 08 is even bigger. Makes me want the 08 one now. I could sell the 04 and 05 STI coolers i have now and try to find the 08.. Not too sure if it's going to be all that much bigger. I doubt it!!

It is! - so much so that the size of the scoop is probably too small to enjoy the full benefits of the increased core size. The 08 scoop/intercooler is actually huge in comparison to previous models when you park the cars side by side.

FARK! i want one of those. I reckon they would be pretty hard to find as i have been looking for them for quite some time and seen barely anything turn up. The newest one i saw was 07. Hmm Need someone to tear there brand new WRX apart so i can have there scraps. Bahahaha

Not the Best pic, But its a Idea of the scoop widths of the MY09 WRX Sedan vs a MY07 STI.

going to wait till monday to fit now. car was going to mms for a new turbo so ill wait till then and get it tuned properly. from a quick fit up point of view it wont be a straight forward swap over. some kind of custom brackets and splitter need to be made but at least the massive s201 bonnet scoop can finally become practical! if it proves too big i have a MY06 Spec-C tmic which is about 90mm shorter.
