Sounds like you're on the mark and yes very happy!

I think that link is in reference to the US market 2.5's, the photo is off Nasioc (US site).
No worries I just found it odd that I had the in-line joiner there in the first place... they say restricting it further can give a boost increase, not that I want that, I just want to make sure I'm running the ideal setup.

Has been a good learning experience Next step is to look into a few minor flat spots through the rev range. Any tips?

Search for "engine earthing".

Simple mod to help with surginess.

Doing a search now, found a couple so far.

Is this related to the Subaru Recall regarding alarm/immoboliser issues caused by high levels of electrical interference?

Nope, just poor factory engine earthing to the chassis.

Ok now I'm annoyed. Took the car up to Kings Park for a bbq and all was fine. On the drive home only getting ~6psi again! No CELs, no odd engine bumps, no shakes, no over-boosting. Will do another ECU reset in the morning. Wish I knew what keeps causing this.... car is running BP Ultimate.

On this subject I'm researching a few different grounding kits. Some are approx. $50 delivered -
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/D1-GROUNDING-...4.c0.m14.l1262
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Paran...1%7C240%3A1318

and others $120+
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Subaru-Imprez...3286.m20.l1116
http://www.frsport.com/HKS-48004-AF0...Ti_p_3041.html

The difference? Any issues with the cheapies?

Use ofc copper speaker cable....$1.50 per metre and you only need 1.5 metres.

Cheers.

Any tips on where to go with the boost issue? Could an aftermarket BOV have an impact? Mine is adjustable (GFB Stealth FX). Trying to figure out what keeps putting the ECU into 'safe mode'.

Edit: My car has never had the Subaru upper engine cleaner applied to my knowledge. If anyone has a can avail let me know.
