im goin for the 257 coz im after more torque than hp and i was only runnin about 14-15 psi so im gettin the guys a tenagah to do it for me.
i dont know wats actually happened the power just died and lots of smoke came out so i assume its blown :S

probably worth having someone take a look at it, see what can be salvaged, maybe its even repairable!

was funny though coz i was on my way home from tenagah after talkin to him bout puttin in a new build for me.

just had to bring the date forward a bit so either way i might aswell get it all fixed up and good to go now.

Going up the hill on Welshpool = possible to stay on full boost for about a minute with foot to the floor (in a high gear such as 4th) That mighta done it... if that's what you were doing

Wouldn't say it would be full boost, but yeah, last time i went up there it was a good 4 mins of consistent partial boost all the way up with the engine under load.

Should we be looking for the big dump of oil on the road next time we go up?

haha yea probly there was more friggin smoke than a bushfire. i was in third bout halfway up at full revs and then just as i changed to 4th it died.
