What im currently doing given the current circumstances - wait for someone who has spent up big on a project, lost their job/ money through shares and needs to get rid of excess expenses. - and cash in on their losses.

There are a lot of half done projects going for cheap these days. Keep your eyes out for second hand parts etc and you should be able to get what you want for a reasonable price.

if you want to be different go 2.2 or 2.35....

Still not totally unique but far less common.

it will never be worth the money... lol

modding never is. mods are worthless to anyone. speak to guys who are selling their built cars, Tino, Jaron or even Jimmy who has sold his. I'm sure they will tell u the same story, its no investment, thats for sure.

End of the day, its up to what u can justify. If you can justify spending $25k on a 10yr old + car (when its finished) then thats completely up to you. If I had bulk cash, I would be doing the same, as it is, I don't...

Good luck

PS: I would do a 2.2 stroker kit, or a 207. Proven results.

very true...spend money on building cars and when you're selling it you'll get more or less the same as the guy who hasn't touched it. Do it for fun not for investment.

Invest in shares/property/brothels...

257 = hyperuetic pistons. (weak, high silicon content)
207 = forged pistons. (frikin strong as an ox)
257 = weak bore = ovaling easy.
207 = frikin strong give me 30 psi everyday cos im frikin sick awesome.

You want to be different but you bought a wrx. Everyone in the world has a modified wrx. Weather its 2L or 2.5L, same same. If ya wanna be different, get a foz or somethin and bomb the hell out of that. Cage, yada yada.
