Idle playing up?

Rpm hunting all the time? (i.e 500 rpm then over 1000 then back to 500 over and over?)

Car continues to pull after lifting all the way off the accelerator pedal when in gear?

Failing or FAILED Airflow meter........ Get it checked or BOOM!!!!

Hrmm u got to rev the car at a certain revs constantly for a certain amount of time, then switch the car off for 10 seconds, then back on and rev it again.. you do that about 6 times +.. the more the better.. (I am not sure about the times and revs) Its called a Idle Reset.

And on what model WRX would this be?

How do you enter the "idle setting mode" on a GC8?

How does reving it reset the IDLE speed?

Sure it isnt an earthing problem?
Had similar things going on with my car, put on a few extra earth leads and no more worries.

Hunting Idle & throttle off speed holding are signs of a dead MAF in a GC8

Ive seen it done on my car 97 gc8, and on later models

I was told about this from Subaru Dealership, ring up and find out more, like i said i could only briefly remember.

He did ask for the method to adjust the revs..
