Default Good MC, track turbo 2L

Love my VF22, but wondering what would be a good upgrade for MC, track duties ? want to keep bolt on, was looking at a GTPS02 or SO3. Has anyone changed from a VF22 to a TD06 etc ?

GTPS02 and TD06 i reckon would be too laggy on a 2.0L, especially for the response needed for track work and MC. I got a TD05-16G (equivalent to a GTPS01) on a 207, and it is a tad laggy for my liking, but it's a good balance between power and response.

A good upgrade from your VF22 would be a VF34 or GTPS01 if you want to keep it bolt on. You want quick spool and response out of a turbo for going around a track. A GTPS02 would be more suited for a 2.5L, and a TD06, IMO, would just be too laggy.

you'll find that the gtps02 and the vf34 give very similar results with spool....the s02 having a bit more in the mid/top end(some will say they pretty much even)...only difference between the s01 and s02 is the exhaust housing size...unless you got an s01s...in that case the shaft or some such is different...

When Sean was tuning he did say my old (1st gen) LINK ecu was not the best, so perhaps changing this will help, the car is not slow just wondering if there is any bolt ons for the 2L that will be a forward step ?

Maybe the next step is headers & better resolution ecu.
