Yes K band is used.
Its used for vehicle mounted radar and handheld radar (not handheld laser). |

K band is a necessity if you do any country driving... Helps me pick up the highway patrol nice and early when I visit friends out Mundajong way...

Neltronics ship the units back to the US for service, last-time i went they offered me a month return as they needed to fill a few more units up to send it in a batch. (to save costs)
If its a locally bought unit, they will swap it straight away i believe.. |

I rang Grant at alberts morley he said a geniune one is about $60
he said he had a guy who made some up and they are $25 so if they are open tomorrow i might duck down and see if i can get one. |

I need one i acidently blew the hard soldered fuse and i think a resister in my bell cig lighter.. damn
I need to get the parts and resolder them in to fix it i think.. |
