tru?! Where is that shield located? Because ive noticed the one from above my turbo has previously been removed and not put back on, not being familiar with the ej engine i dont really know where to start haha, exhaust manifold is underneath correct?

check that the bonnet strut hasnt come loose.

As it did a few times before and i freaked out big time.

Heat shields covering your headers and up-pipe, from the engine up to the turbo.
They like to come loose due to different metal expansion rates( some parts will heat up quicker than others)
check everything is tight,
I had that noise from tein suspension before.. The electronic damper motor came loose.
Also check you still have second gear, no teeth in the gearbox oil.
If it moves and it shouldn't then use duct tape.
If it doesn't move and it should then use wd40.
