just a quick question how long do coilovers usually last? I've come across a nice set of coilovers which have done abit of K's and was just wondering if it was worth it to get them.

How long's a piece of string?

Seriously, depends on brand, history of use etc, etc
For example I had a set of DMS 40 on my MY02 STi (now Brent's Rexploit) pretty much from new and on sold them to a mate when I traded the car at 70+ k's. They had a minor service and are still on his MY00 almost 4 years later...and going strong...
If the 'nice set" you've seen are a reputable brand and have ben looked after they should be OK, but if they're China Spec or similar I would look elsewhere...
