No 'easy-way' or shortcuts on removing it.
You will have to remove your dump pipe again, undo the 3 up pipe bolts on the turbo, unbolt the exhaust manifold from the heads (under side of car), and remove the whole lot to replace the up pipe.

You may get away with just unbolting the drivers side exhaust manifold collector .. a little shortcut?

Yeah seems like the easy way on doing it, some one told me that I'd need to pull the engine out. Didn't believe them one bit

whoever told you that was lying. worst case you can loosen the engine mounds and jack the motor up

The biggest issue I found... (as ive done this exact job in the last 1-2 days), was the standard headers have a shite-tin of heat shielding to defeat first, then its all fairly easy going. Drop headers, std up pipe will slide out.

(If you get aftermarket up-pipe/headers to replace, just make sure if they are ceramic coated... that the coating isnt all over the inside 'bung' for the oxygen sensor... otherwise no screwy...)

Brent.
