if it helps, the sound is more of a metallic rattle.

have checked all gaurds etc and nothing is loose. damn this is bugging me.

as you may have seen at REXPO, I have fitted the 16" wheels back to the car and the noise is gone.

only time you get a slight noise is when travelling over speed bumps.

may be due to the extra shock absorbtion of the 16" tyres compared with teh 17's
