Yes but not a good idea with a stock engine.

nah no huge jerk just the engine light and then thats it. i pull over and let it all cool down but it seems to drive all normal once its on. boost doesnt cut but dont really want to push it when the engine light comes on... redline i meant 7000.

im guessing subaru can reset the ecu but would any mechanic be able to do this?

Why rev it to 7000? It won't be making any more power over about 6000 with stock cams anyway....

yeh im aware. i dont usually hit redline anyway. i change at around 6500 when performing such acts. i dont want to have to pull over half way down the quater because my engine light has come on. like, for me just knowing that its there is enough to shit me lol i just wanna fix it
