Quick fix or new headlight?
Hey everyone, got a bit of an odd problem here, i am in the process of putting my own projector HID lights in my peanut headlights following a DIY from rexnet.
http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index...2&hl=projector i just removed my headlights and i have found the passenger side (LHS) housing is half melted underneath... It already has an after market HID kit and the ballast was mounted directly underneath the headlight (see pic bellow) Could the ballast of melted the case? or could it be because the headlights have been blackened therefor have been pulled apart in the past and the person doing it melted it in the ovan? Pick of the melted light with good light behind Is there anyway to repair it enough to do the HID projector conversion and stop all water getting inside? or is time to find a new/second hand case, if a new/second hand one is needed, where could i purchase just a case, or do i need to buy the whole thing? any info would be greatly appreciated - let me know if more pics are required |
