Default 257 vs 207 for my99

decisions decisions! whats everyones opinions on this... say you have a my99 with a whole bunch of work done already but a stock engine.... are you better off getting a 257 short block or a 207 to drop in there? not planning to do a whole lot else to it at this stage, aside from bigger injectors and a retune once its done...

- 159000 kms Comp and Leakdown tested.

207 + angry cams, springs and shimless buckets + 2BAR + 8500rpm rev limit.

And piss off that Suretrac rear diff. Replace it with a 2 way plated LSD

so youve bought the silver my99..nice pick up, but if the motor is stock and still runs fine...leave it

my car has 267hp, 18 pounds of boost, everything bolted on and has completely stock internals...

personally the 257. its a great daily drive with mountains of torque. mine feels like driving a V8.
