Just look around for a cheap Autronics, they can be found.

There was even new ones being sold recently for $1800 and less
just do a search of Spotydog's (Graeme) threads and you'll get
the guys details in there.

Also with autronics you'll be able to get close to what you paid for it
if and when you sell it, where as the other reflash options you'll never
get any money back near what you can with the SM4.

However it's your car and it's up to you which way you go just don't
be pressured into doing something because everyone one else has it
or says it's the best.

Make sure you know what event's your planing to do with it first. If all your running at Barbs will be at No Limits nights it will be rare that you will go on the long track. The short track definitely is not a power track.

Stick with the tried and true mods. No point being a test pilot for some fancy wiz bangery that will cost a bomb and may or may not be good bang for your bucks.

As said before. Suspension FIRST.

Some better rotors and pads second.

Power last. If it is also a daily don't go nuts on the power. You want it to be reliable. Be honest with yourself. That last 20kw that is going to cost a fortune and might give you .2 or .3 of a second a lap. Do you really need it.

200KW ATW is pretty reliable and reasonably cheep to do for an STi go much further and if your flogging it a lot you will start breaking it.

Do Suspension in one hit and all your power mods in another. might need to wait a bit but will save a fortune in labour.

Get a spare set of wheels and run your play tyres on one set and some normal tyres on the other.
