I may have missed it but did you end up installing the full TBE or just the CBE Karina?
If TBE are you going to get your car tuned or just leave it as?

I fitted a TBE system on karinas car.. Dylan spec exhaust.. Can't go wrong

just wondering, did you notice a power gain from the TBE? also did you try using the silencer or did you just remove it?

I thought all GD onwards WRXs needed to be tuned should you get a TBE, I could be wrong however.

nah the silener was stuck in there pretty well, so we had to take it off with a bit of force before the install. And lucky we did coz it took a bit of effort. let's just say that when I came home last nite noone heard me. You figure out quicky how to keep it quiet when you need to.

When i put a TBE on without a tune, i noticed that
a) It ran rich as (fuel econ read:shithouse) b) Boost seemed to come on hard but it just dropped off pretty quick. The tune smoothed everything out which netted in more power.That was on the TD04 though. You'll want to put a new fuel pump in prior to tune though - ~160awkw with 17psi. Did you go a cannon or a an oval? I put a full stainless system in, with oval muffler. Looks the goods.
