On a 12year old car? Really?
We're talking ABS warning light on a far from standard car. Not CEL.

I'd like to see the dealer that would do it for free, maybe if they thought they'd get the job of repairing it .

A blown globe probably wont cause it on a model that early, a brake light switch will, it is quite common for the ABS module to fail, or more likely the relay for it, which can be replaced. Actually, in your sig it says you own Slugeye. Only trouble I've seen on bugeyes so far is the G-sensor. Pricy, but it is best to get the codes checked.

Mine does that if I turn the key and start my car straight away (I.E In one movement, rather than turning on the ignition, waiting a bit then starting the car).
