Default GC8 sti TMIC vs GD Sti TMIC any one got any info on flow and cooling differences??

Sorry i meant GD sti hit the wrong key..

fitting.. is a prob, is worth the effort.. where could i take it to get BOV cut and GC8 adaptor welded on?? SOR pref

you have a my97/98 or a later model? anything later and you dont need to cut and weld bits.

MY97... i tried today and the BOV adaptor hits some sensor/valve that has a hose going to inlet pipe...

I did follow those intructions. i have something on top on intake manifold that is not on that model...

The brown thing near the BOV on the manifold...

yes, I just did this.

Welded that bov part up and added a piece of 28mm ally pipe to the standard STI Y-Pipe.

You will need a longer 90' silicone bend to get from the Y-Pipe to the turbo compressor outlet. The STI one is about 30mm too short
I got mine from MTQ engine systems, 63 beringarra ave malaga.
They are a distributor to turbotech etc and gauranteed to beat any prices found elsewhere.
Was ~$50.

Can cut a notch out of the standard passengers side intercooler bracket and bend it to shape.
I am working on the drivers side at the moment.
