You can also re-soak the device in isopropyl alcohol to wash out the coke remnants. The alcohol will evaporate quickly.

I saved a mobile phone that went into a salt water pool with this method.

Thanks Rossco, I was just sitting here wondering whether google will have a result of where I can buy a time machine or whether Andrew had one in his backyard (or some extra IPA to spare).

p.s FYI it's great on glass....same as rainx for 1/10 the price!

let it dry to a haze then buff off, water will bead up and blow away.....

LOL - I have about 150ml left which I use to power a minature steam engine that my 8 year old thinks is "amazing" and clean up the odd computer part.

Rossco is right though - Bunnings sell it and Altronics still sell 2l cans for approx $30 odd.
