Default Timing Belt Pulleys

What's the secret, being trying to get these off but they're stuck fast. Any hints, tips tricks?

Cheers,

if your talking about the toothed idler and the 2 smooth ones all you need to do is soak it in de greaser or something that will eat away the crap. i have done plenty of timing belts on subaru's and have never had a problem getting the pullies of with a 3/8s ratchet, if all else fails get a braker bar on there.

Serious!?

They're not supposed to be that tight (about 40nm of torque on the bolts when fitting).. but I suppose over the years they do tighten up.

Rattle gun? Not a home spec one either, a proper workshop one plugged into a big compressor with lots of air.

Bit of penetrating fluid (WD40) or a light touch with a blow torch to release the bolt.
