In a way I'm rather glad it has happened now, as opposed to in a few weeks when the new heart is in the car, or worse, when I'm halfway across the Nullabor. I don't think that would have been much fun personally, others may disagree.

I'd go Bosch - too many faker Walbro's circulating imo.

Its easy to get a genuine Walbro. Vendors on rexnet sell them or you can support local business and go to Vision R. I'm pretty sure they keep them in stock for $150.

Ebay is really the only place where you have to be wary of dodgey Walbro pumps.

I've noticed Bosch pumps are freaking noisey as all hell.
+1 walbro pumps quiet and such a easy install

I've got the bosch unit - can't fault reliability
its not that noisy to be honest
its louder when its a hot day

but bang for buck the yank pump is good
