ic water spray
hey guys/galz
my car came stock with an ic water spray system, but the bottle is in the boot behind the guard with only the opening visable, so i have to guess when its full. so my idea is to rig up an autometer fuel level gauge to it therefor i can see how full it is. is this possable? |

Should have an indicator light on the dash when it is low. When you see that, turn it off until you have a chance to fill it.

In my car (02 STi) it has a display on the dash 'I/C Water Spray' when it's running low. You generally get a warning when it's low-ish and you corner hard before it gets stupidly low.

take the plunge and put in measured amounts of 0.5L, till you get a little spillage, then you'll know.

omg. you can tell when its full by watching/hearing the water flow into the bottle
stop being such a noob to find an excuse to fit a water gauge to your car |

why not make a sight glass on the side?
tap one hole at the top (2cm from top) and one at the bottom (2 cm from bottom), put a plastic tubing between the two and instant vision a gauge will use the same principle |
