You're better off selling it and picking up a kit made for your model, rather than modifying a kit from a GD.. FMIC kits are tight fitting as it is, let alone trying to retro-fit a kit from another model.

The mounting points for the core, and the pipe bends from the core into the engine bay, are going to be different.

Well not really, I was going to buy a Sti to start off with but then realized that my grandma drives a hatch.....

So therefore bought a WRX, motor died, so thought I'd make it special,

And I do have a 6 speed on the way

If you'd bought an STI, then you wouldn't have buy a 6speed or aftermarket brakes, it also comes with DCCD and SI-drive, plus nicer interior and flash dash.
They come in sedan as well you know.
Seb Loeb drives a hatch.
So does Dean Herridge.
