Buy second hand set of heads, send to Tony Knight. Save yourself Cosworth tax.

Pretty sure EJ255 & 257 blocks are the same, the heads is where the difference is (WRX vs STI). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

As TJ said, get heads done locally.

The more aggressive the cams the more power you can make but you will sacrifice driveability and have a nice lumpy idle. Suss out the actual specs of the cams and work out what you want. Cosworth 272s are less aggressive and have a shorter lift then say Tomei or JUN 272s.

Thats not a built engine, i wouldnt be pushing big boost through that block..

EJ255 has less bore webbing than the EJ257 asfaik...

if u want to make bulk power needs to be close decked and sleeved... id be shitting myself without one.. as well as id want big fk off headstuds..

Cams you want a much higher duration, im running 272/2?? cant remember but i should have gone for some kelfords with a more aggressive cam but im making enough power to not worry about an extra 30-40whp..

Burke i did years of reasearch in all the parts for my car, what works what engine setup is the strongest and most reliable, who was capable of building a reliable engine, suspension handling. Literally years of research...

I have modified myself with my own tools and bare hands every single part of that car. Including removing and re-installing the engine, suspension, interior (seats, doors, dash etc), bumpers, fenders, roof vent the list goes on.. So tell me how im a cheque book racer..

And yes i have run that time or faster on the short track at barbs on my very early setup areound 3yrs ago... I have driven my car at AHG, Barbagello, collie, Twighlight series at the motorplex...

Please tell me again how im a cheque book racer...
