Default New Pads and Rotors

While I appreciate it has been done to death over the years - what is a good pad and rotor combination for brembo's front and rear??

I wouldn't mind some feedback on the dixcels and QFM's? Looking for a full set that will out perform std and good for the occasional track day abuse.

Cheers

I run some QFM A1RM front and rear on my brembos. They are a bit harsh on rotors when cold. They also squeal just a tiny bit when cold and with light pedal pressure.

But once they heat up... Very good.

I can only comment on pads on the OEM Lib setup but I have been extremely pleased with the Dixcel pads (Type M?).

Having also driven American Dave's lib with Brembos , Dixcel rotors and pads I can state that I was very very impressed with the bite and progressive nature of the brake feel.

DBA rotors are cheap and good. 4K all round... (although I went 4k front, 650 'street series' rear) + DBA2500 or the spirited QFM pad... (A1RM for memory), or Elig, or the EBC range.

Plus quality fluid.

Brent.

DBA Rotors and Endless CCrg (Front) CCrx (rear) worked great for me, or alternatively the EBC Reds are decent for the price too, if you want to spend a bit more for some real quality, Pagid Blue's or Black for track

I'm also running the PMu SCR Slotted Rotors and love them, great cooling properties and don't have the same issues as DBA's for cracking from my experience.

Currently I am using ACRE Titan Pads on the Front Brembo's and ACRE Super Fighter Rears on the 2 pots and find them great. ACRE pads are very similar to QFM and I will personally be changing to QFM's when these are worn out. I think the Project Mu pads are very good for a combination pad from all reports and tend to be great for street / semi-race use etc without being too far biased to one side or the other.

Endless Pad's I found wore out really quickly but were quite good grip wise, also a little noisy though. EBC I wouldn't put on a lawnmower, useless pads that return next to no pedal feel and every car i've ever driven with Green or Red EBC pads gave no confidence when pushing the middle pedal at all.

My 45.36c worth

Shane I ran dixel type z on dixel slotted and heat treated front rotors. I ran ACRE Super Fighter Rears on dixcel slotted rear rotors.

It transformed the braking on the Liberty. All of this was not cheap however.
