I never did injectors on the Piggy and that left my hands with 235kw ATW, Headers, Uppipe 3in Butler TBE and AVO450s turbo. 68K km still going strong.
Lane reckoned they were pretty much maxed but stick with the stockies unless I wanted to go further. Also had a rather large list of bits if I did. Bigger fuel pump for the tune is a must though. Don't be surprised if you start hitting boost cut occasionally on cold nights when your up it after the tune if the Dump pipe is good. The waste gate in the VF43's is a bit small once the bits around it get to efficient.

big boost is where it is at, a TD04 may only ride the peak efficiency curve for a fraction of a second, but the torque is more then worth it.
turbos are a consumable afterall!

I will put myself in it by disagreeing with some opinions above-
we are talking about the 07STi? that means the 2.5L with hypereutectic pistons. Good performance can be got with boost up to 17psi, ok maybe 18psi. Above that the motor shatters. When you go to see ASG, ask for advice and listen hard. For the case I am wrong about the 07STi motor and it does have forged internals, 24psi could be ok, ASG will tell you but give them a chance with the right questions. |
