Done the mod on my MY10 GT Lib.....Takes the frustration out of using the system,especially for e passenger.

Yes, it's basically earthing out the handbrake sensor.

My MY11 STI uses just the handbrake sensor. The grounding trick works a treat. No annoying lights on the dash, just works like it should One thing I haven't figured out yet is how to get rid of that stupid 'agree' startup screen. Thats will be mucho harder methinks

Takes about 5 mins if you've got all the connectors and wiring ready to go.
