Default Which Lowering Springs

hi guys, wondered which springs would probably best suit my needs.

I am looking to lower the car, ride is relatively stiff at the moment due to an anti lift kit and sway bars which is fine and lowering springs will make it stiffer however I wondered which brand to look for? which brand demonstrates best value for money? best ride, and one thats relatively cock on with its estimated drop., im running 16" wheels at present with the hopes of jumping up to 17's maybe the 03MY STI rims? didnt know if anyone was running this set up.
not looking to do arch work, hate scraping noises, what would be a sensible drop? 40mm?

cheers for looking guys

Whiteline springs if you can find them. 2" (50mm) drop is fine with 17's.

The whiteline 50mm lowering gives the car a good look, but will stuff your shocks up quickly.

The whiteline 25mm lowering gives the car a lowered look without stuffing the shocks up. Also I think it is better geometry wise.
