Invidia "Race" TBE fitted at ASG and tuned by Sean. MY06 STi.
Ran fine for 2 months then one day cruising along around the hills going up an long uphill road CEL came up - P0420 Catalyst below efficiency

Took car back to Sean who disabled that variable show up as a fault as it's just a result of the higher flowing CAT

P.S: Where's my Launch Control Cash/Sean say they waiting for you to send back my file

IF you do not know the CEL code it is currently throwing and would like to find out, please contact me in a PM and we'll arrange something.

ie

P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold
P0442 - EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Small Leak).

hmm yea about this - apparently they reach 400hp without changing internals using cobbs accessport or perrin stage tunes...or custom tunes...
Is the US of A hp a little bit exagerrated or are we aussies too scared to push higher on our ej205s??? whats the deal here

So basically, my ECU cant compensate for what the engine is making? Can I make the adjustments needed for what I'm running with the Cobb AP? The closest tuning shop to me is two hours away, can i manage with the AP now and the shop tune later to solve this misfiring conundrum ?

Had a weird one today...

Was in and out of the car a fair bit running errands and had my father in law with me. At one of the stops I left him in the car, engine off, driver & passenger doors open while I was sorting out some shit.

Long story short, go to start the car and the immobilizer led is flashing like a disco and the keypad wouldn't take the pin.

Got the old man out of the passenger seat, locked it, waited for the alarm to be set then unlocked, entered pin and away we went. However, engine light was on, cruise light was flashing and it would only show 'S' mode, without me bring able to select 'I' or '#S'.

So I switched on my Kiwi Wifi gizmo, started up the Rev app and saw I had 3 CELs. Didn't write the numbers down, but they were a crankshaft and 2 camshaft sensor codes.

Cleared them with the app and away we went. I'm pretty happy there's no issues, just the car throwing a woobly probably cos my old man was sitting in it as it tried to arm the alarm?

Glad I had the Kiwiwifi thing which saved me a trip to the dealer/tuner! First time that's come in real handy

Did you happen to leave the key in the ignition ?
If so the factory immobiliser has timed out and the codes are a result of cranking while the factory immobiliser has armed.
