yeah the stock rims have 225 on atm, 235 is fraction wider - but i should be ok?
they wont have a tendency to roll of the rim or something??

Squid,

I have Pirelli P Zero Neros in 235/45/ZR17 on my standard MY05 STi rims.
The car has STI lowered pink springs.
No issues at all with them ie scrapping rubbing etc.
I did find that my Speedo is now almost spot on in terms of indicated and actual speeds checked against my GPS.

Cheers,

Joe.

They will be fine...will not roll off the rim or stuff up anything...

FYI: 02 - 04 STI: 17 x 7.5 100 PCD will take 225 & 235
05 - 07 STI: 17 x 8 114.3 PCD will take 225 to 245
08 - 11 STI: 18 x 8.5 114.3 PCD will take 245 & 255...+?

8.5 also 235's or are you saying it will take 245/255 besides what they come with?

235 on 8.5 is fine but 245 would give a bigger contact patch.

Yeah that's a given but I was just highlighting that 235 was missing from the 8.5 tyre sizing you put up.
