if you run a 9" wheel with 40 to 45 offset and a 245 you shouldnt have rub with some camber like 2f and 1.7ish rear

you could fit a 255 but will require a bit of work, something like this How To: Properly Modify 05-07 GD STi Rear Fenders | t3h_Clap's Wheel33tist Blog

Thoughts?

It's something different, matches my pink and black theme
Although it's a different shade, not Sti pink

Although for the price, I'm way better of just getting like rota grids and powder coating them...

And Thankyou dzenci, but don't think I'm quite ready to fkkk around and do permanent body damage lol

Cornering at slow speeds may affect diffs, but hey it dose already, sometimes a rear will skid a little In carparks and that, but so what, it's an STi.
The width/profile number is a ratio . . . so your chances of getting the SAME rolling diameter front v rear is close to ZERO. That's why you don't often see different width / profile tyres on AWD car bar some exotics where the difference is calculated to be part of the performance of the vehicle.

But . . . it's your car and if you do go different widths front / rear we could start a betting pool on when your centre diff goes BANG.

Yeah, no doubt somethings already fucked. GF lent the car to her mate just before Christmas when I was out of Perth and it's got a serious fkkn whine going on, and crunchs a bit at slow speeds, and the clutch is now pretty worn. Gotta love that.

When you accelerate or brake, (ie change speed)
There's a cronic, rearish of gearbox whine plus an overall drone now.

Kinda expecting to do a fairbit of work sometime soon, cars done a hard 180,000 and will need a rebuild, new turbo, drivtrain etc etc just holding off as long as possible and save up some $$

But back to rims- I really wanted to go something a bit diff from the norm,
But rota grid's or rots dpt's look to be the most suited & best value
And I'll just powder coat them something different
