Default lifting speed limiter.

Thinking about removing the speed limiter on what is basically an 04 jdm sti. Reason for this is not so I can go see how fast I can go along great eastern hwy, but so I don't get fuel cut at 200kmh on the quarter mile. Not sure how to do this.

Any reflash retune will be able to lift the speed limiter.

I thought the ADM 05 sti used the A4RN300I rom from the ADM 04 sti, which is supported in ecuflash/romraider.

If you only want to change the speed limiter, just ask someone with a taxtrix cable and romraider to quickly change it for you.

I'm not near my laptop or I could tell you what the ROM came up as, I remember it had an X in it. I tried to remove a P0420 fault code from an '05 and it didn't recognize the image. I always use the latest def's
Even with Romraider you still need Ecuflash to be able to read and write to the ROM.

trying to justify it with the ol 1/4 mile time tactic ay :-P I dont think anyone here would be adverse to you wanting your speed cut removed, but dont beat around the bush... You want 200+ km/h full noise tunnel runs dont you ?
