I have the jaycar one, and it's never missed. Well mark, (munya) has it currently. I'd recommend trialling it. The other issue may be, (but highly doubtful), perhaps as it's been verso'd...?

Brent.

Subaru dealer, Select Monitor version 3

On most 04 onwards Subaru's, you need to enter the vehicle OBD system, which is separate from engine management.
Nice dealer's shouldn't charge you just to plug it in and pull a code.

Would this make any difference?

I have a Verso-tuned 2001 B4 Liberty and i'm getting a P0031 code.

According to THIS WEBSITE, a P0031 is a "Front oxygen (A/F) sensor heater circuit low input"

Is this always going to be correct or would the Verso potentially throw this up?

Subaru want to charge me $40 to scan the car and tell me which sensor they're going to rape me for.

- Alex.

Visit Mao - he'll do it for free and perhaps have a "non rape" pricing on sensor.

I would say it's correct and you should get it replaced.

I'm just hitting Subaru up for a part number now. I'm 99% confident that's the issue.

Thanks guy's.

Front 02 is semi-wideband and used for fuel corrections more then rear..

Get something same as OEM spec or expect some problems.

qft, If it were me nothing else but a Subaru sensor would go in.

Same deal as per timing belts, coolant etc. Just one of those things mate.
