Default just disabled my11 nav restrictions

Now my partner can enter address while on the move and watch DVDs.
All it took was some wire found in a skip bin, leather man tool and an old bandaid. Will tidy it up when I get home.

Did it at work, works perfect. Need to tide it up though. Voice activation next.

Thanks for sharing dude. Any info out here in the forums will always be helpful.

Alternately, you can also cut that wire and connect the headunit side of that wire straight to the black earth wire without putting a switch in.

All other JDM units of Alpine and Pioneer will require the switching device though.

Regards,
Mao

LOL, Loved that show when I was young. Can't believe it was that easy, all done. I ended up just earthing the wire to the nav harness. Also fixed the rear rattles last night, my two biggest gripes with my car.
