Quick question im looking at some 17x7.5 Rota G-Force with a +48mm or a + 44 offset. how will it sit on the car, will it rub or stick out. thinking of putting 235 or 225 tires on it as well the cars has had no suspension work done either... The car is a 1998 WRX wagon has anyone got some on their gf8 to have a look at... also what would be the widest rim/ Tyre i could get under there before id need to roll the guards.

Cheers

Hey
I've got a GD 2001 wagon.
I'm currently running 18 x8 +42 offset with 225's with coilovers but not running neg camber & they sit flush with the guards.Hopefully this helps.

Looking to get new tyre's soon.

I want to address the issue where my rims are so easy to damage. If i touch a kerb, I will almost certainly damage my rims. The lip of the rim is exposed.

I currently run 225x40x18 on 8.5inch rim.

So, If I go 235x40x18, this should short it out? I am pretty low and scrub a little bit on the liners when pushing the car hard into corners, so not to keen on going 245, but would probably look pretty good?

Also, should one stick with a 40 profile, or goto 45?

Tyre recommendations based on the above? I am running Nitto Invo's currently and have been REALLY REALLY impressed by these tyres.

245*40*18 standard dunflop sp600's on my sti (8.5inch rim) looked a little stretched believe it or not. The yoko AD08's in the same fitment have vertical sidewalls and really fill the guard up more than the stockers. Can't compare the tyres for performance, like chalk and cheese.

Cheers.

I run 245/45/18 AD08's on my 18 x 8.5 track rims. I can find a pic for you. They fill the guards nicely too.

AD08r or G-Force Rivals.
I'm torn between the two at the moment.
