Default Removing Turbo exhaust housing

Going get my rear housing Ceramic coated along with my headers/up-pipe, heat shield(reflective) and maybe my dump tho might just heat wrap it.

Is it just as simple as undoing the middle V-band, disconnect the wastegate actuator arm C-clip then hopefully it should slide apart if the turbo?? if not pry it open using a screw driver.

does it needs to be re balanced or anything after reassembling it?

PS: This turbo is a VF37
and do we coat the inside of the housing or just the outside?

Yep. Thats all there is to it. Once the V band and waste gate arm is off, the rear housing will come off. Sometimes it may need a bit of a tap with a hammer. If you need to do that. Hold the turbo so that the inlet is pointing right up. so that if the rear housing falls off it wont strike any of the turbine fins.

No need for rebalancing when you are just removing the housings.

It will likely have a small dowel for relocation too. So no stress on getting it back in the same spot.

yep, coat it inside and out.

The coating is incredibly thin so wont change the housing size characteristics.
