Just a little update, the silver bug now has STI headlights, with HIDs.
I'll upload pics soon.
I've been experimenting with some different Open Source tunes for my car.
I now have true anti-lag and launch control, switchable with the rear demister button. Plus full speed density, ala Autronic/Link.
Gave it a test run today, got the J-style EL headers glowing red, so wont be using it too often!

If anyone has used the Grimmspeed TGV deletes, I'm interested in experience's, as TGV's are now optional for me.

Default Johns 207 build

After 20000 odd k's of 1.7Bar my engine is starting to breath heavily.
So now its decision time, first option and probably cheapest, is to just bolt up a 207 shortie.
But thats boring, plus the factory internals aren't that strong
Second option is to somehow find a 207 block and build that.
Or, build my 205, with the usual, eg, Scat rods, JE pistons, ARP head studs,
ACL bearings.
My question is, how much can a 205 handle? Has anyone here really pushed one? I'd like to know some actual dyno numbers.
Cheers

P.S.
I'd be doing all the work myself, besides machining, so labour doesn't matter
