Something strange has happened. I've been sick over the last few days so my car hasn't been driven. It seems that not driving it has sort of reset it and now everything is back to normal. Full boost with no issues etc. At this stage I have no answer for this issue (for future reference) unless it happens again

so what does it boost to now? ps, does it still have a brant alarm?

i had the same issue and the brant was being a cunt. ripped it out, problem solved. went through injectors, AFM's, spark plugs, heaps of shit ... turned out it was the control box under the dash that had a blown capacitor which was causing intermittant cutting ignition or fuel or whatever it does to stop the car.

so to quote master d, yes in a way, it was the flux capacitor in my case.

Boosting to 13-14psi with ease.

Yeah I still got that and I'm aware there may be a fault with mine because it stalls randomly on start up but I can't afford to get that changed at the moment.

+1 for your brant then being the problem, will probably come back. if it does get that removed and replaced first would be my advice.

unfortunately with these intermittant issues, they are time consuming, pricey and generally a pain in the arse.

Sucks how this stupid system can cause all this drama. I'll gather up some coin in the new year and replace it. It's something I've wanted to do since I bought the car

Mine does the same thing when I clean the AFM, if you cleaned it out make sure the AFM is dry before running the car and only use AFM cleaner not contact cleaner as this will damage the AFM.

If you cleaned the AFM it probably hadn't dried off enough before you put it on again or if you hadn't touched it I would say that you have a faulty AFM.
