car seems to be driving as per normal...will nurse it tomorow and see if there are further issues.

Huggy B - il take any luck this week, i replaced about 30cm of hose and a t piece the other day... looks like where the one way valve is behind the alternator with the vacuum lines attached...heat and pressure just a clean break..britile as hell.

hose clamp for the win, il re-tighten tomorow as well just to see if there was any more movement,

Could be a good idea to make the tags more search friendly for those having similar issues.
Good to hear the issue got sorted in the end!

I've heard of this a couple of times with late model wrx's. Aren't the tb's plastic on them? I'd be adding an extra clamp if you have room. If you only use one and do it up too tight, you're bound to crack it!

just took car for drive now, so i could squirt it to see if symptoms remain on boost.

seems to be all fixed and guage is showing no fluctuation in vacuum now.

once again, thanks all for your quick response. This time around i really needed it.
