Price was at the time $280.00 + $60.00 freight

The theory is, to correctly oil shot the bearings just before there under maxim load. Saving any damage like a spun bearing. This has been done on Tinos motor and from what I have read its quoted as the Michael South ( MSR ) method of oil phasing.

Lower on this Page Rossco has some information on this and the clearances

Does this make the crank "lightweight" due to the extra holes?

One would have to say any reduction is a good
It sort of like your blow off valve fitted to the GF8, just how does it make your car go faster

Because of the pink mesh.

I have had this done to my crank by Tony Knight and I have not had any of the oil issues I had with my last couple engines.
Wildbill likes this.
