have you checked the actual hub? may be bent and the rotor isnt seated flush ?

Yeah you could be right, but how would the hub just become bent all of a sudden? either way, i'll be checking my car with a dial once I get time, gonna be a fucking pain without a hoist haha

On a Subaru the cast part of the hub (knuckle) will bend long before the rotating part (the spindle) In fact, I have seen numerous bent knuckles but never have seen one that wobbles when rotated. If you still are not convinced, mark the high spot on the disc rotor, remove it and refit it half a turn on the spindle and reckeck it. I'll bet the high spot is in the same position.

I have experienced this in my civic, did it last year, took it to my mechanic who replaced something (can't remember off top of my head atm) and the problem was fixed. However the brake shudder is now back... :/

Could even be that the Rim face isnt seating against the brake disk
