There is a thread on this somewhere, but in the interest of saving time, try the following reset procedure:

BRANT RESET

• You need two people to do this
• Your car battery must be fully charged and in good shape

(1) Disconnect car battery negative terminal for 5 to 6 minutes
(2) Hold down 0 and # at the same time on the keypad and reconnect the battery whilst still holding down
(3) Release 0 and #
(4) Enter 0 four times on keypad
(5) The keypad is now reset to accept your PIN
Thanks for the replies fella's,

I have used the above reset method before and it only gave me one start, where i then drove down to Subaru Wangara(and tried to restart) before handing over some hard earned for the master code to be put in..

I gave Brad a call as mentioned in the first reply and he took my details and will email subaru for the code. Find out tomorrow i guess.

I also gave Brant direct a call and spoke to a nice bloke Dennis who offered to reprogram the module if i sent it over to him for no more than $50 including postage, he couldn't believe what subaru charge for the pin code!!

So we'll see what happens tomorrow i guess.

Cheers

Fish

They are charging you for the code???? That is a load of BS!
They should have the master codes on site.

Dealerships have been doing this for years.

We stopped using Newcastle Street Holden because they wanted to charge us $60 to retrieve the security code for holden stereos' 'this was before they released the unit that allowed you to remove them without disturbing the system'.

Woohoo!

Brad gave me a call thismorning and the B4 is alive again

It's even harder for Subaru to get the codes these days apparently, used to be a quick phone call but Brad had to email wherever and request the master code...

Happy days
