Default STi Injector Size for GC8 - VF34?

Hi guys

I have a MY97 WRX (GC8 v3/4). I have read that these have 380cc injectors as a standard.

I am planning to get a VF34 turbo eventually but not running anything crazy on it as it's meant to be driven daily.

Could you tell me which STi injector I should be looking for as a minimum? And what would be the recommended size I should really go for to avoid any issues.

Thanks.

The STi Injector 516cc? are more than enough for VF34
or you can decapped your current injector but Im not too sure on the V3/4 GC sidefeeds if its possible.

GC STI injectors of the same year will be the easiest to drop in, stay away from SARDs. But remember that any injectors that aren't OEM for your car will require an ECU or you will be rich as fuck.

The 440s are the best straight replacement. They aren't expensive and good for 200kwts+. More than enough for any VF turbo.. They are "yellow tops" like these..

Don't forget a Walbro fuel pump

Worth getting the injectors cleaned before fitting .. $100 approx if they come to you or a bit less at a workshop..

Will require tuning for new injectors.

440's will cope with 1.7 bar from a vf34.

Thanks for the info guys...

I have a PowerFC and I will be getting a Wallbro pump for the job. I am also looking for a 3" TBE SS exhaust with a split dump and an oval muffler (twin tip preferably). I think this may end up being an XForce but I was told yesterday that they don't do the split dump in stainless anymore

Should be getting a tune once everything is in... slowly collecting bits at the moment.
