Default Exhaust Size?

Hi guys

Could you tell me what's the correct exhaust I should have on my GC8?

It will have a EJ207, VF34, Processwest TMIC, silicone intake, upgraded injectors, Blitz Spec S boost controller and PowerFC.

The two most common things that I have been told are....

TBE 3" all the way
or TBE 3" with 2.5" diff back

Suffice to say it will have the CAT, silencer n muffler.

But which one???

Thanks guys.

3" is the most common option and will do the job well.

A 2.5" diffback will still perform great and do the job well but will sacrifice a little bit of top end for a beefier midrange.

It's up to you which one you want, Provided you get a decent qulity dump pipe the rest is much of a muchness.

Either.

Unless you push the VF34 really hard, there will be bugger all difference between a full 3" system and a 2.5" system.

90% of people will put a 3" TBE on though.

3 inch is the norm when dealing turbo charged performance cars, you rarely need need to go bigger unless your running a massive turbo

3" Straight pipe
