any reason why you wouldn't go to all star garage for a verso tune?

You say you didn't drive it, only started it in your driveway. Something is probably unplugged. It definitely shouldn't come on just from starting the car.

yea thats what i thought but i didnt unplug anything, i guess ill just wait for the tune

Does matter if I just start the car so the battery doesn't die? And give it a bit of a rev? Or will it affect the car awell

Starting it and idling it shouldn't cause an issue.
But we don't know whats wrong with it.
Buy a trickle charger.
