rexspec at standard level
Default check engine light

alright so i got the check engine light on after changing turbos from a vf39 to a td05 the car hasnt been tuned, was suppose yesterday but got held up at the bank so the next available time is 30 of may at race torque for an ecutek. the car is a 04 wrx, anyone have any suggesting on what it might be?

umm the fact you changed turbo without getting it tuned, then probably got on boost...

I would suggest not driving it much/far until you can get a tune.. and hopefully you haven't fatally damaged the engine

A heavy throttle foot followed by boost spiking followed by CEL thrown, its easy to clear the CEL and reset the ecu but I would recommend you lay off the boost until you can get it tuned.

i havnt driven the car its been in my garage i just started to see if there was any leaks, i called race torque and they said that it shouldnt go on

read what the guys said...

1. You changed your turbo
2. You got on the loud peddle straight away
3. Your CEL came on
4. You pulled over, changed your pants
5. Posted on PWrx...

Bottom line, you changed your turbo, didnt get it tuned and the CEL came on.

Get it tuned and the CEL cleared. Done
