Default Best Subaru Workshops - Perth

Hey guys, my engine in my 92 liberty finally gave way on the way to work today, seems like a crunching piston or crankshaft so in need of a new engine. The engines a EJ22, so keen to replace it with the same motor but am lookingfor the best workshop in perth to do the transplant. Obviously dont have a spare engine so if the workshop has that too, would be great! Just unsure on where to go, how much im looking at and other options? Wouldnt mind a turbo engine though pricing is all thats bothering me. Not looking to spend over $1000, But will if have to, drive in drive out
Cheers guys

Doubtfull if any of the 'best Subaru workshops' in Perth will be able to satisfy your needs within your budget. Perhaps look in the Quokka, Gumtree or wrecking yards.

Hmmm.. Under $1000 will be a bit tough.

Buy the quokka and and start searching. Should be able to find some old engine for >$1000 if your lucky.

Getting an old EJ and also getting it fitted at a workshop.. All for under $1000.. mmmmm no.

Most good Subaru workshops charge you about $100 an hour these days.

I won't even go into the breakdown of costs but yeah..

Best bet: Find an engine second hand that's in ok condition.

Find a mate whos done an engine swap in the past. Feed him beer and pizzas.. Then beg him to help you do the engine swap.
