Question Abs light flash

Hi guys can any1 help me my abs light turns on for a second when I switch on my ignition on before I start the car, and it also lights up for around to seconds when I go to turn her off....its got me a bit worried cause the other day I was driving and I went apply my brakes to turn right and it felt as though my abs had a spack attack ,I felt my foot on the brakes vibrate crazy.....can any1 help me and tell what I should check or what I need to replace?

Probably wouldn't mess around with your brakes since they are the only thing that's going to stop you .. Just save yourself the trouble and take it to a quality workshop

the vibration is the abs doing it's job.........

Yeah I was thinking of that cheers for that....i was hoping that some1 could like tell me to check over a few things I could of missed its just I live in the country and they all charge a arm an leg to fix simple things

the vibration was pretty random I was just turning a right corner very slowly, I though she went spastic or sumfin, its never happen b4. plus the abs light showing for like second or two on ignition b4 starting her up, an turning her off

the light should come on at start up as the system does it's self check.

do you have a turbo timer?

As Roscco said it will come on when you switch the ignition on the turn off once the car is running. Do you have enough fluid in the brake master cylinder ?

Curious how the light comes on knowing you are going to be turning the car off and that you aren't just stopped at a traffic light?

Optional HAL module installed?

I am using a turbo timer soon as switch the car off the turbo timer runs and then abs light gos on for like 2 seconds. My mate has a gc8 and I check his ride and it doesnt show the abs at all, and he has the same set up....
